The Kansas City Midweek Morning News Look

We start our morning with a quick consideration of the ongoing drama with the Prez and his pr0n star which the nation hopes to politely ignore until it passes over and another controversy comes along that doesn't make the indiscretions of BOTH parties so obvious.

Closer to home we're checking these news links to start the day.

Early stage entrepreneurs struggle with the technical steps to getting started, a new Kauffman survey found, and founders don't believe the government is helping them. The Kansas City Backup Plan

The case for Chase

Welcome to the legal tampering period! We're close to the flurry of Chiefs activity being official. What trades they have made can't be finalized until March 14. While it would be the opposite of flashy, I believe the Chiefs should bring back one of their own and a hero on the east side of Arrowhead to backup their new potential hero Patrick Mahomes.

Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey - The Middle is the song of the day and this is the OPEN THREAD for right now.

Let's see if I have these straight, Katie Kelly was the one Trump was screwing while Melania was pregnant, Stormy Daniels was the next one, the year after Melania had Barron, and Whats-er-name Daniels is the one he was fooling around with during the Campaign, right?

Whoosh! I'm glad the whore-mongering Con Man has finally gotten too old to get it up! I'm sure his "Good Christian" supporters are too!

Beware of the "win" in the suit against the Fed Gov. Here's how it will likely play out, and in my admittedly jaded mind, was set up to in the first place. The Fed is "responsible" for the flooding, Fed now gets to say: in order to ameliorate damage to "private property" we have to seize that property to provid a non-liable floodzone for future storm events. The fed would then permit farmers to rent the land they previously owned, at a fee, and without any crop protection / insurance available.
