This is the down side of escalating housing prices. Get over it.

Property tax ought to be a damn crime. People invest in cities and counties by buy property and then they spend their lives being told what they can do on the property and paying rent to the blood suckers, in the form of property taxes, which mostly go to support some bastard kids via schools and the programs and handouts that go with them. The transient hoes in the ghetto receive the benefits and half the time they don't even pay thier damn rent while having zero property taxes. What a great system!

^^Yes it is. If you don't like you whiny little bitch, you are free to exit the country for one that aligns more closely to you idiotic views on taxes. Good luck with that.

Excuse me, @ 10:09, but your tiny nasty little shrunken soul is showing.

I wish there was a counter-weight to the Kansas Policy Institute that could give a fair/balanced view on property taxes. Even if you generally agree with their policy positions (i.e. less, not more government) they have a way of over-inflating or skewing numbers to tell a story - some might call that un-trustworthy.

Another Kansas conservative policy of bait and switch in action.

Bitch and moan about high taxes. Cut business taxes, leading to a budget crisis, forcing cuts in services, and finally raising sales and property taxes. Then we're back to bitching and moaning about high taxes.

It's the ongoing cycle designed to allow the richest to rob taxpayers blind with the end result of wrecking a state's economy.
