A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting last month. Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker charged Tony Mack with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, assault and three county of armed criminal action. Leon Taylor died after being shot in a vehicle in the area of 16th Street and Elmwood Avenue on Jan.

Independence man faces judge for chain-reaction crash near Arrowhead Stadium that killed two girls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Terry Gray, 51, appeared in Jackson County court Tuesday morning charged with two counts of DWI resulting in death and two counts of DWI resulting in serious physical injury. A jury has the option of finding him guilty of two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of second degree assault.

Police searching for person of interest in overnight shooting in Independence

The Independence Police Department is asking for help to locate a person of interest in an overnight shooting. Henry A. Hernandez-Guerra, 26, is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday in the parking lot in the 17700 block of E. US 40 Highway.

Overland Park Police want help in identifying these people

Breaking News The Overland Park Police Department is asking for help in identifying two suspects in a case involving two stolen automobiles. The crime occurred in the 16300 block of Barton on January 6. The suspects entered the unlocked vehicles and later used one of the victim's credit cards in the 9300 block of E.

Just your average broke-ass white locals. Nothing to see here, folks. Even so, stealing two cars at a time shows planning, initiative and ability to think ahead. When they catch 'em, Cerner should hire 'em. If they know how to read and write and count, that is.
