Kansas City Chiefs Marcus Peters Postscript

Somewhat recently, Fox News talker Laura Ingraham lambasted basketball superstar LeBron James regarding his negative comments about Prez Trump and started a social media firestorm among pundits and overpaid middle-class office drones.

She told the basketball living legend to "shut up & dribble" and then shut down by a wave of overwhelming criticism from fanboys and progressives.

That context is important inasmuch as a social buddy recently shared a quote that was rather brilliant for any political perspective:

"This Marcus Peters trade is the The Kansas City Chiefs “shut up and dribble” message to all its players . . ."

You decide . . .

  1. I like it. Obviously there was some financial fallout last season.

  2. I see Steph Curry thinks Trump's decision not to entertain the Golden State Warriors at the White House, is the ultimate cri de coeur for the "Sports World"

"[Trump] kind of, you know, took that power away from us and didn’t allow us to have that process to come to the decision [to go] as a group,” Curry said. “Obviously, I think, that was a rallying point, not just for our team, but the NBA and, for the sports world in general, I think.”

The last two words in his comment, sum up the problem with, very few exceptions, all athletes who think they are standing on the shoulders of Social Justice Heroes who are, storming the barricades.

    "I think".

    Bull fuckin shit.

This idiot, like Marcus Peterpuffer, wake up dead between the eyes every day, drowned in an ocean of shared narcissism, blubbering on about this, or, that cause de jour, with talking points handed picked up by their marginally intellectual betters on CNN.

It should be, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DRIBBLE.

"Thinking" is a bridge too far, stick to dunking basketballs through hoops.

I've seen corporations shed good people a lot faster for a lot less. Peter's mouth had begun to write checks his ass couldn't cover.

His play was the best part of the defense unless he had to tackle. Coverage only.

I think the comments will reveal more about the author than the subject.

Craig Glazer loves the guy so of course we should have kept him. NOT

  4. It’s entertainment that’s all. Some people don’t feel the need to be lectured by millionaires on their perception of struggles. Sports and Hollyweird will continue to decline until they understand that they are just entertainment.
