An update on local tragedy and more information FOLLOWING TKC BREAKING NEWS!!!

ONCE AGAIN OUR BLOG COMMUNITY WAS FIRST TO BREAK NEWS OF THIS TRAGEDY BLASTED AIRWAVES TONIGHT!!!

The debate over this horrific story rages across local social media as youngsters, parents, teachers and administrators slap-fight over the deets.

Among the denizens of our blog community, we notice that discussion has taken a turn toward envy as other tragedies aren't getting this kind blanket coverage: Example - That 9-year-old KCMO youngster gunned down has pretty much disappeared from headlines.

Nevertheless, we always work to bring our community the FACTS AND FIRST-PERSON PERSPECTIVE so YOU CAN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF!!!

Brief aside after more than a few notes sent my way, TKC doesn't want to communicate with youngsters or high-schoolers so please don't message, e-mail or contact this blog geared toward politically charged discourse . . . Talk with parents, teachers or counselors or check this suicide line for help . . . Because this blog is not only a KICK-ASS BREAKING NEWS FREE SPEECH ZONE but also a bit of a viper pit, public toilet, happy-hour intended for grown folk.

  1. I think this is the right angle. Focus on prevention and grief counseling, this is a tragedy for a community. The other tragedies around KC also deserve attention but there's no denying that this does impact the entire metro because of so many copycat cases.

    1. Free hugs?

I think the problems are more important than Twitter.

    2. Very, very sad story. Wish that they would have had more resources BEFORE this kind of thing happened. Prevention is key and also letting young people know that suicide is not the answer.

I hope and pray that the deaths of these two are not in vain, that more people know that there is help and it gets better!

    1. Absolutely agree!

A lot of the hate comments are disappointing but I think that provides a look at the cruelty that young people are confronting. There is a lot of social pressure out there and when youngsters are locked into their cell phones and they think that's the real world, it gets them confused.

I think a look at losers who would gloat over suicide is a good thing and maybe might inspire people to PUT THE PHONES DOWN and appreciated their real friends, family and loved ones.

  3. the hate comments are because tony is fucking retarded and took rumors as facts. I go to the school, nobody slit their wrists, both of the suicides are completely unrelated, the two did not even know each other and never spoke a word to each other. Tony says he doesn't want to communicate with youngsters or teens, but then takes tips from them.

  4. ^^^ Time for bed douche @ 8:35. The world is a tough place but your mommy will have a big breakfast waiting for you tomorrow so you can take on the world and be the best you, you can possibly be.

Just remember that everybody loves you and values you as a person!

Also, nobody gives a shit about your tips. Please go spend $125,000 on a journalism degree and then come back and talk to us.

  5. ^^^ Jabroni, you bitch. Don't talk to the young ones OR that surveillance fan wifi is going to come into your house and smack you in the dick.

    That is all.

  6. Suburban suicide is the saddest suicide of all.

Actually, really unfortunate situation and I hope any young person reading this post doesn't take this blog too seriously. The big titty posts are probably a clue about human compassion on the Internet. That being said, real help for young people is hard to find but it DEFINITELY ain't on your friggin phone.

  12. Sympathy to the families and friends of the deceased. Such a shame that young people don’t realize that one day in the not so distant future, high school will be a fleeting memory and things that may seem daunting now won’t even be on the radar anymore. Life gets so much better if you just hang on. In the meantime, there are people and places all around to help you through tough times; don’t hesitate to call on them if needed!

  15. According to the posts I saw on FB, there was also an attempt. The post was pretty specific.

There also appears to have been other very recent ones in school districts on the MO side.

People need to talk about this. Hiding it and denying it, is ridiculous.
