Show-Me Life Lesson: Guv Greitens Proposes Drastic Missouri Education Cuts Whilst Newsies Focus On Revenge Porn Allegations

Nobody said it would easy for the Guv to get back into the public eye as local newsies didn't seem forgiving or concerned about far more serious issues than a salacious scandal. Read more:

Greitens unveils next year's state budget, but media focus remains on his personal life

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens unveiled his proposed state budget in his first public appearance in nearly two weeks. But much of the attention remained on his past extramarital affair. Nearly half the questions asked at Greitens' budget rollout focused on allegations that he threatened to blackmail his former hairdresser.

It’s Missouri. Better question, where’s his bib overalls?

If that slut he fucked was his sister or cousin his approval ratings would be sky high. That’s how Missouri inbreds roll.

I'd go a step further and say there should be significant cuts at the local level as well. When's the last time any of you its-for-the-schools-it-must-be-a-great-tax people ever looked at your property tax breakdown? The school system on mine is 700% more than the next highest taxing entity (4.6 rate on school, 0.66 on muni). That is absolutely ridiculous. There are four "fundraisers" per year which ostensibly go into the general fund (read school board slush fund). In addition to that, all extracurricular activities are essentially responsible for funding themselves (sports, band, choir, clubs). What is the State even responsible for providing to schools? It should be guidance/goals for smaller schools, maybe funding for hard-up systems, though even then, a small school in a geographically large area has lots of ag-land tax funding.

Greiten's should still quit and let Lt. Guv do his thing, but I'm good with school funding cuts.

Tax cuts goes to show

Greitens doesn't care about his children or the rest of the states'. Rape and blackmail of the citizens and society for personal gain. It's how the whites kill each other.
