Partisan Divide Powers Greg Orman

In his own words, here's the game plan to move Kansas away from divisive partisan slap-fighting that has already caused gridlock at the State level and now the nation. Take a look:

Orman: Kansas Voter Irritation With Parties Opens My Path To Be Governor

Four years ago, Greg Orman made an independent and notable challenge to Republican U.S. Pat Roberts' run for re-election. Now the wealthy businessman has his sights set on the governor's office, contending that voter frustration with the two-party system gives him a path to victory in November.

  1. But why would he WANT this horrible job?
    Kansas is broke.
    The legislators are constantly fighting.
And the Ks Supremes have ordered a steak far too big for the dinner plate.
Sticking the taxpayers with a bill for a doggie bag...

    Oh, maybe that's it...the Supremes...
perhaps that is Orman's goal, to change that up.

Tell me more, oh son of the never-ending furniture going out of business sale. Tell.Me.More.

Tell me during a three day sale.
Or a three day a week campaign.
    Tell.Me.More.

  3. Kansas is a wasteland. The dumbest people in the country reside there, and the worst politicians on earth govern them. Hell on earth!

  4. 8:44, wasteland, possibly.
    Shithole, no.
That's KCMO, and you know it.

  5. ^^No. Sorry. The flattest and most backward state in the union. If you don't think so, you are one of the dummies who live there. Now go be offended at a statue of a naked breast, or go join Westboro and protest a dead solider's funeral. Or hey, maybe you can teach the rubes about how trickle-down economics work? They eat that shit up. No? Maybe you can join that dolt Kobach on the quest to find non-existent voter fraud. Doesn't do it for you? How about joining Phil Kline and help him find his missing law license. Too boring? Maybe go to Olathe and relax at a sports bar watching the local criminal university play. Just don't be foreign or you may have to dodge some bullets. Not exciting enough? How about you roll on a ride along with the KCKPD and try not to get shot in the line of duty! Maybe go to city of shinning light-Wichita, and join their police force as they kill the locals for sport.

  6. 937, you're and idiot. I think that says it all. Oh and they were not watching the MU game at Austins that night.

  7. Hey 9:37. I wouldn't vote for Kobach if he paid me to, and yes I am a republican who will not vote for Orman either. Colyer will be Governor in a few days and he will win reelection in a landslide. Everything will be fine.
Jeez you need to take another Midol, maybe the whole bottle.

  8. @9:46-you must reside in that shit-hole as well. Surprised you have the internet. You must be at the library! Who did you have to ask how to spell idiot? No work today? Or are you the late shift at the chicken plant? You are too dumb to know what you don't know.

  9. Okay, now that all of you have that out of your systems, go sit in the corner!

Back on topic, he may well have a shot at this, both parties have made themselves irrelevant by pandering to any little bloc of one-issue kooks they can find, and have become frozen by internal squabbles, so the "Independent" label is the only political refuge left for moderates.

"Extremism" may be a Goldwaterian Virtue, but it don't get the cows milked or the eggs gathered. Look what a problem Bernie Sanders was for the Democrapic Party leadership, and he's just about the most "independent" Democrat to come along recently.

Trump can even be viewed as some sort of "Independent", he was a life-long Democrat until Obama's election set his racist little panties on fire, and GOP quarrelling let him step into the void. Since then it's been more a case of the Republiwhores catering to him than his leaning toward whatever "GOP Values" are left.

So don't cunt "Independent" Candidates out, there are plenty of voters who are sick and tired of both Packs of Scoundrels!

  10. colyer? don't know him really.

if he turns out to be a reasonable, no-drama altenative, then, yes, most folks would welcome that.

we'll have to see how colyer handles himself.

  11. I don't understand why some folks are so emotional about Kansas. In reality, it's pretty bland in almost every respect. Most of the people are nice to a fault, which contrbutes to its blandness.

  12. ^^Or ignorant, backwards, racist, and quite possibly inbred.
