Well, if KFC, Applebees, Chipolte, etc would stop taking EBT cards.....problem solved.

We live in a city where people think QuikTrip and a Donut Shop is high cuisine.

Nah. We live in a city where the rubes will pay twenty bucks for a donut if it's called 'artisanal' and comes with a discount at the tattoo parlor.

It’s not Food Swamps that are the problem, it’s Food Stamps. Obesity abounds in our Urban Core, where the majority of people get food stamps. Get rid of Food Stamps, as fat as these people are the program is obviously too generous.

No more Food Stamps in the hood

Look when you walk into a grocery store. Tens of thousands of items of process foods that will cause health problems. Your best bet is going farm to table. Or garden to table. We are in Farm country. Cut out the middleman. You will look good feel good and have more energy. .

The hood has several urban farms that are producing a lot of healthy food but, let’s face it, these welfare mommas gotta have that greasy fatty chicken from Popeyes! 6:17 is right, if you watch these fat biotches buy groceries at Walmart, one cart over flowing with meat, chicken, shrimp, crab, the other cart will be over flowing with junk food and strawberry pop. They can do this every week on food stamps and they do.

This does remind me that I haven't been to Popeye's in a while.
I like to get a five piece with large sides of fries and beans & rice and one of them strawberry sodas. Maybe an extra biscuit or two.

Sorry, what was the topic again?

Stay away from the grocery store, it's like a minefield. Try to buy fresh food.
