Water Bill Consequences And A Glimpse At The Future For Kansas City???

Reader suggested link offers a scary prospect as local water bills keep skyrocketing despite promises to curb the rising tide of increases. Take a look:

Baltimore Residents Losing Homes Amid Crippling Increases In Water Bills To Pay For Crumbling Infrastructure

With its surging violence and failing public schools, being a Baltimore resident these days doesn't seem to be that enticing a proposition. Unfortunately, crumbling water infrastructure is only adding to the agony of residents that occupy what increasingly looks like a failed city.

As of yesterday. Baltimore had 333 murder compared to our lame ass 144. We need to pick it up if we are going to be as bad as they are.

^^Yea but how do they compare with worthless blog posters? Seems like we have more than enough here.

We have to pay for the streetcar. Lots of relocation of utilities with the streetcar and planned expansion. Do you think the utility companies are going to do that for free? No, the City tells them to raise rates for the whole city to pay for it. Remember only those living in the streetcar district were supposed to pay. NOT SO!

This is exactly the future for KCMO residents, thanks to Burns & Mac, which runs the Water Dept. The $Billions goes to all those Leawood and Overland Park employees of Burns & Mac at the expense of KCMO residents. Thanks, Sly!! Thanks, Troy!! Thanks, Jan Mc, who took a sweetheart engineering gig after leaving City Hall!!
