On April 4, 2017, Kansas City residents decriminalized marijuana possession with an amazing 75% of voters supporting that move. The Initiative was led by NORML KC, the Kansas City Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
You fools thinks possession of Marijane has been decriminalized.

The jail sentence has been removed, but it is still a crime and if you are convicted you have a criminal record.
Get one of those Raytown Lawyers that does Muni Court cheap and get it reduced to littering if possible.
