KANSAS CITY POLITICAL TEAM OF 2017: COUNCIL LADIES HALL, SHIELDS & LOAR!!!

Here's just a bit of Sunday hope for local politics and inspiration for the year ahead . . .

Check it . . .

IN 2017, A COALITION OF KCMO COUNCIL LADIES STOOD UP TO THE KANSAS CITY DEVELOPMENT AGENDA IN ORDER TO PROTECT TAXPAYERS AND QUESTION TACTICS OF THE MAYOR'S OFFICE!!!

Critic will point out that this team didn't always stick together but generally on the topics related to the airport and other public safety issues . . . These council ladies did a lot represent their constituents.

And so . . .

Council Lady Heather Hall, Kathryn Shileds & Teresa Loar deserve recognition as Kansas City's political team of 2017 touted by our AWESOME TKC blog community.

We pick these strong women because the fate of voters on airport representation & fiscal responsibility depends on their actions. To be fair, on this issue they've had a lot of help from Councilman Quinton Lucuas - But generally, these ladies have led the way and might be the only reason to keep have just a little faith in people on 12th & Oak.

You decide . . .

Agree the airport issue will define 2018.

Just not sure that anything can stand in the way of developers and Sly.

If these women can put up some fight for reason, than they deserve recognition.

Good choice.

Next year, some metro candidates should be in consideration. And honorable mentions might also make it on the list.

Jerry Nolte is putting up a good fight in Clay County for taxpayers and public safety.

They should put up more fight! They’re the ones that are supposed to be running the city, the city council has power, the mayor does not and it’s time they started doing what’s right

Heather Hall is the big-hitter--who cares about the murder rate, our antique sewers that flood us out every time it rains, and the Plaza and Westport now being nigger-infested shitholes, none of that matters because now we have Big Sonia Day ! Thanks Heather !

Did a 5 year old write that intro? WTF?

I bet Heather's panties smell like a fresh Springtime morning dew that's why I would vote for her or whatever she wanted I'd give her giggity...

Hey, 4:28, it IS a holiday weekend. TKC is prolly up to his sombrero in titays and tequila, or whatnot. Misspellings and word jumbles aside, the blogger's blunders aren't as bad as all the Killa City Star's puffing for their "pay to play" pals.

It says a lot about KCMO government when a few council members FINALLY actually try to represent the residents of the city after giving away hundreds of millions of tax dollars to wealthy "developers" and blowing more millions on fake glitzy projects.
What courage!
What leadership!
WHAT A JOKE!

I'd take them over Sly any day.

Has anybody seen him in two weeks?

Hope he's okay.

Women can't live with them, can't let them be in charge.

I hope Heather Hall runs for mayor!
