The nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards were announced on Tuesday, and the Kansas City Symphony performs on a record nominated in two categories. The recording is Adam Schoenberg: American Symphony; Finding Rothko; Picture Studies, and it features the Kansas City Symphony conducted by music director Michael Stern.

Gold's Gym Westport has not been in business for 40 years. It opened around 1990, taking over space formerly occupied by an aerobics club that had only been there for a few years.
ReplyDeleteFace facts, Westport's dying. Gold's Gym owners can see the writing on the wall, and are getting out while there is still some chance of finding a buyer and salvaging something. The future of the "Entertainment District" there can be viewed by driving by 19th & Vine or the P&L District.
