REMEMBER YAEL??? HE'S TOUTING 'MAYOR SLY KANSAS CITY AIRPORT' FROM AFAR!!!

Here's a bit of #TBT polling from a mostly forgotten Kansas City newsie working to tout the legacy of Mayor Sly James despite the fact that it didn't really help him retire with even a bit of dignity . . .

On the bright side, former Kansas City Star columnist Yael Abouhalkah polling isn't exactly attracting a crowd and instead has simply annoyed some of his old school haters. Take a peek:

  1. And Fael should be renamed Dick.

  2. Successful? What an idiot. A leade’s very first definition of success is safety. Every company and group in America agrees with this.
Apparently old Yael doesn’t pay attention to local media and isn’t aware of the murder rate in KC and the crime rate under the Bow Tie.
Why is there not an investigation of the distraction of his moonlighting job the Bow Tie does when you would think his entire focus would be on solving crime?
Yael needs to get a big rocking chair and if he looks up the words “non-relevant” in a thesaurus- surely if he squints he will see his name- and also know how divisive he was with readers and how popular he was with people who shorted the Stock of The Star.

  3. UPDATE: Shortly after arriving in Namibia, Yael was captured by the Himba tribe and sold into slavery, after which he was put to work in a uranium mine near the Namib desert.

Following a case of jaundice, he was nicknamed "Little Yellowcake" by his guards.

Though his wife has appeals in with the American embassy, the State Department hasn't pressed the case yet, given the character of Yael.

  4. I thought the airport was going to be named after Harry Truman when it was first built in the 70s. Nothing wrong with naming it after Truman now.

  5. What we really ought to do is rename the east side Jamestown.

  6. I thought he was in Nambia.
