NEXT UP: CELEBRATE KANSAS CITY RIVERFRONT REAL ESTATE SCHEME!!!

Take a look at the next Kansas City taxpayer funded developer cash grab . . . Only this time around, there's almost NO VOTE ALLOWED FOR TAXPAYERS FORCED TO FUND CONDOS DOWN BY THE STINKY RIVER . . . Checkit:

Kansas City: Connecting Our Riverfront For Everyone - Port KC

The Kansas City: Connecting Our Riverfront for Everyone (KC CORE) project will extend the mobility and economic development benefits of the Kansas City Streetcar to a long dormant area near downtown - catalyzing economic development and job creation. But the project is much more than a streetcar extension.

Is this the Rob Collins/KU project touting low cost senior housing?

Another toy train scheme. I guess buses can't make it to the riverfront. This is going to cost us.

We need for the next Citizen's Referendum to be about getting a vote on the ballot to shut down the Port Authority.

They have the authorization to spend an unlimited amount of KC Tax money . and are only answerable to the Mayor, God help us.

From a former Councilman: Mike Burke pulled $4,000,000 out of the Port Authority. Will he personally invest any amount in the taxpayer hotel in exchange for his equity ownership interest. Upon completion, his interest will be worth millions.

Tony Botello is right, the riverfront organization supports gays who should be thrown off the rooftops instead.

This so-called "riverfront" area is a former toxic waste dump. I see they are building a bunch of stick apartments that will be home to section 8 in no time. Oh, and this area sits across the river from one of the worst polluters in the area. The stench when the wind blows from the north will be enough to put everyone off their corn flakes. Don't need any transport to this area. Stay away for your own health and safety.
