Retail is dwindling and millennials are buying houses. What could go wrong with a business model catering to shoppers and renters?

There is a market for rentals. Not everyone plans to stay in the metro area they were transferred hear for there job's and will be moving on soon weather it will work in that area. I doubt it. And the retail is over saturated in the metro .Even The Rocker orders on line. Good Luck.

One huge shopping center in this exact location failed big time. So the city leaders (Idiots) think throwing more money at the next idiot developer to come along with a plan is the smart thing to do.

What a huge ass joke, about as dumb as a new airport.

Hey, I'm a developer. Give me a pile of cash and I will turn a vacant strip mall into a bunch of cheap-ass apartments. Five years from now, they will be ready to tear down and start again.
