Dead-Tree Screed Against Kansas Secrecy

Here's the money line in a snoozy Sunday report from the local rag . . . Not sure this one will convince either side and it's mostly written from the angle of frustrated newsies laboring over Sunshine requests that don't earn as many social media shares as domestic drama broadcast on Fakebook. Why hide in the shadows, Kansas? State government is shrouded in secrecy

Kansas must have more sunlight. That's the inescapable conclusion its citizens will reach this week, as an investigation by The Star is published. Kansas is so boring. It's hard to understand why anybody would want to know the details.

Maybe to distract attention from Kansas City, Missouri's goings-on.

Kansas is indicative of what the Republican party wants to be. Politicians completely bought and sold by their corporate overlords. Not a shred of integrity but hide pretend to be pious. I hope their is a hell so all these dirty politicians who pretend to be religious get their comeuppance.

Hey, they're Republicans!
That's what Republicans do, hide stuff from the Public.
If they were open about what they do on a daily basis, they would never have continued to exist after 1929.

Pulitzer Prize winning material. As the investigation is expanded and the reports spread- I‎t seems those who are hiding and responsible for the systemic cloaking will be outed. Can’t wait to see how this works out for the silencers who have worked to keep Kansas a top secret information protector that rivals North Korea.
