KANSAS CITY ART SCENE TAKE DEUX: COUNTING CREATIVE CLASS CASH!!!

An important accounting of KCMO arts scene money for nothing from public TV provides a nice bit of contemplation for late night TKC denizens and night shift laborers who are actually doing real work.

Checkit:

"We're told Kansas City's arts economy equals a quarter of a billion dollars. This second episode digs in to what is counted in that number, like dinner out before a show, and what isn't counted, like buying from an artist at First Fridays."

Most of the money is in flipping condos, not anything related to the purchase or showing of art. That's just a sideshow. If this series isn't promotional, it's just a bit to precious and misses the point of "art" in Kansas City.
