Suspect Still On The Loose After Historic Northeast Kansas City Gunfire Robbery

Historic Northeast robbery suspect still at large after KCPD search

Kansas City, Missouri police officers are still looking for an individual involved in a Thursday, September 28 robbery near the intersection of St. John and Denver in the Historic Northeast. More than a dozen officers convened near the intersection of Bellaire and Scarritt, across the street from James Elementary School, as they conducted active search efforts for the suspect.

This part of town is routinely left to fend for itself. Why? A lot of poor people, a lot of immigrants (also poor), and no big-time voice to push City Hall.

What the fuck is historic about Northeast? Could it be it was once all white? Maybe the Katz Drug Store? Sheffield Steel? Montgomery Ward? Dew Drop Inn? Bud Park?
