Kansas City Bike Plan Participation Plummets

Here's a bit of public info to encourage locals to waste their time serving as props for City Hall.

Kansas City, Mo – The City Planning and Development Department invites citizens to the second round of public meetings for the Bike KC Master Plan. Snowflakes aren't strong enough to pedal bikes. They need scooter lanes.

I think more of the bikes at these rental kiosks get stolen then rented and ridden.

Uh, oh!
People are growing up?
So maybe creative class living downtown and working part-time in the gig economy isn't really going to get anyone anywhere?
And maybe you really do need to own a vehicle to get around and enjoy the metro?
And those safe suburban neighborhoods with great schools are looking better all the time?
And life is turning out to be a bit more than craft beer and cold brew coffee?
Hope the next generation really buys into the taxpayer-funded amusement park downtown.
Because KCMO residents will be paying for it for decades.
How's Mike's hotel coming?

We need to turn our backs on building for the pleasure crowd. Bike Lanes are B.S. Use the streets to DRIVE to work.
