FAIL: FAIR WEATHER FANS ABANDON KANSAS CITY ROYALS 2017!!!

During World Series glory, so many longtime fans were ignored when they expressed their resentment of JoCo housewives and so many others jumping aboard the bandwagon.

Now those disgruntled voices have been proven correct . . .

KC Biz Journal -- Projection: Royals attendance will drop by double digits in 2017

Deets:

"As the Royals return home for likely postseason obscurity for the second time running — and the 30th time over the past 32 seasons, the team's attendance number at Kauffman Stadium is falling for the second consecutive year. As of Sunday, the team's attendance is down 12.4 percent in 2017 compared with last year . . ."

  1. Next year the Royal will lose 90-100 games and attendance will really be bad. We have a reall bad minor league system, our best players are leaving because the owner is a cheap cocksucker who doesn't care about winning and our general manager sucks.

  2. Add the Chiefs to this list of losers also as empty seats become the norm at Arrowhead.

  3. David Glass bought the Royals for 90 million and they are currently worth around 750 million. If he was willing to take losses the next two years by signing some of their free agents until he can negotiate a new tv deal after 2019 he would keep attendance up while strengthening his bargaining power.
He could then make that money back fairly quickly and still keep a good product on the field. But that's not the WalMart way.

  4. Nope, nope, & nope. It was a great ride. It will rise again. The Chiefs are the best team in the NFL, and their attendance is going to explode. Sorry to ruin your narrative.

  5. No need to worry.
Alex Gordon has absolutely been crushing the ball the last two weeks.
He will step up his already legendary offseason workouts and bring this momentum into the 2018 season.

  6. I have been to at least 10 games a year for 30 years. Win or lose a true baseball fan can enjoy a game. The fact is KC is not a baseball town, only a town that jumps on bandwagons. A town where the fans would rather see roided up monsters playing the game like slow pitch softball. So if attendance drops it will be all the better for me since the beer lines will be shorter and my view won't be obstructed by all the "fans" taking selfies.

  7. It was a fun ride while it lasted, we all knew it would come to and end. 2014-2015 was fun but the ride is over. Probably over for another 30 years.

Chiefs its time we finally get a superbowl in my lifetime they are way overdue.

lets face it I thought the Chiefs would get a SB win before the Royals ever did!

  9. Yay!! I'm rooting like crazy for those guys who don't spend one minute more in KC than absolutely required by their million dollar contracts!

They are playing for us, the fans!!

  10. I aint coming to the games until everyone salutes our flag.

  11. I go because I am entertained. I personally could care less about the players. If one goes down..get the next one in. If one guy leaves..get the next one in. They are completely interchangeable and wholly expendable. So I will be there every game to tailgate and be entertained for 3 hours. My butt doesn't hurt, and I don't look to get offended like a little bitch at everything. I understand the world isn't perfect.

  14. You idiots this time last year on Monday night a Presidential debate took place that you all thought Hillary won. Well she didn't and she lost big time over all and still is. And the same goofs who say 24 million visited Kansas City are probably who came up with that figure.

  16. I don't understand why Ned Yost, Dayton Moore, David Glass, and Dan Glass haven't been fired yet! Ned Yost is a terrible manager, Dayton Moore is a terrible general manager, David Glass is a terrible owner who really doesn't care about winning, and Dan Glass is the same. Fire them all right now!!
