Marshall Jr. with perjury, a felony. According to reports, court documents indicate Marshall lied on the stand while testifying during Jimmie Verge's murder trial in March.

On Saturday night the Kansas City Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) joined forces with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to brief law enforcement officers before they began patrols.

The Kansas City Police Department is investigating what led up to a crash that left a teenager in "very critical condition" Saturday night. Officers were called to Holmes Road and E. 123rd Terrace around 8:15 Saturday to investigate a serious crash.
