Pitch Probes Former Shawnee Mission School District Honcho But Comes Up Short

Here's a comprehensive report that's not half as salacious as all of the online chatter concerning this dude's downfall. Take a look:

Jim Hinson, Shawnee Mission's swaggering superintendent, vanished after parents spoke up. What happened?

In the spring of 2013, Jan Bombeck was wrapping up her 21st year as a librarian in the Shawnee Mission School District. She liked her job. But as a veteran employee and the mother of kids who had gone through high school in the district, she'd started to worry about Shawnee Mission's direction.

The Pitch obviously envies the Star's ability to create a scandal out of thin air. The Star has little credibility, but the Pitch has none at all.

Sounds like the parents and teachers of SM School District didn't have their hands held or their po-po's patted by Hinson. He took charge and didn't consult them on every little thing the way they were used to. The district is in decline because most of the wealthy families have moved south and west to other less diverse districts. This is happening to older districts all over the country. If you don't like how things are going, and you can afford to move, then that's the solution.

What I can get from the babble in the PEEYOTCH's article agrees with 6:22! Apparently some residents of "Paris On The Plains" (Paris-ites?) didn't get "enuff o' de Smoochies" from Hinson, and UM DOTTUM FEELY-WEELIES HURT!

If feeling got hurt, they were obviously Hinsen's. He apparently thought he was still in low life Missouri.

THOSE MACBOOKS/IPADS WERE NOT PROPERLY LOCKED DOWN IN TERMS OF SERCURITY-INTELLIGENT KIDS COULD GET TO ANY WEBSITE OUT THERE AND COULD MESSAGE ANY OTHER STUDENT IN THE DISTRICT.
ALSO THE 6TH GRADE TEACHER IN ONE ELEMETARY SCHOOL WHO HAD BEEN TEACHING THERE FOR MANY YEARS TOLD MY NEPHEW HE WAS NOT LONGER ABLE TO TEACH ABOUT WORLD WAR TWO.
