One dead following officer-involved shooting near 34th and Prospect
Two Kansas City, Missouri police officers are on administrative leave following a fatal officer-involved shooting Sunday. That incident happened around 12:31 p.m. near 34th and Prospect. Officers were dispatched to the scene after someone called and reported a disturbance between a man and a woman.
They could have just tazed him, there was no need to shoot him. An obvious case of excessive force.
