TKC WEEKLY POWER RANKINGS!!! FRIDAY FACT CHECK: BIZ COMMUNITY LEADERS DON'T LIVE IN KANSAS CITY PROPER!!!

Amid this shorter work week we're posting our weekly TKC POWER RANKINGS just a bit differently and highlighting this KICK-ASS TKC READER reality check to correct the misguided notion that metro biz leaders have a real investment in this town.

Here's the word . . .

TKC READER: Business Community Doesn't Really Support KCMO

Dear Reader,

There's a recurring theme in KCMO politics and business that receives rare mention from our local media. It's nearly always present, most everyone is aware of it's existence, yet almost no one talks about. It's an essential component of the KCMO status quo and plays an integral role in such things as community planning, tax policy, jobs, economic development, public safety, and the segregation of our community. It makes it possible for otherwise good people to ignore the plight of the unfortunate. Out of sight, out of mind. Do you know what I'm talking about?

KCMO IS WHERE BUSINESS LEADERS GO FOR CORPORATE WELFARE, BUT THEY DON'T LIVE THERE!

It's great when your neighbors pay your bills!

When you have the diversity of KC you need someone to keep the city afloat financially.

Anonymous said...

^^^ that's a great theory but these guys aren't giving money, they don't even want to pay taxes. They're just taking subsidies and leaving nothing in return. Not even many jobs.

Is it required that to be on the police force, you have to be a chickenshit fucking pussy? If you're a cop, go arrest someone right now, you fucking cunt.

Don't worry, with all these new apartments and condos, we're cleaning out the trash of downtown and midtown and moving in only CEOs and well paid people to run and work in KC Missouri.

That's the plan, right?

I went on a ride along once and I never ate so much free food in my life!

Moving is the only option. KC is not keeping up with other cities when it comes to population growth. Most of those downtown numbers are phony, just like the tourism number and the streetcar stats.

8:32, I totally believe you man I mean they were setting you up. I'm making fun of you. They were like look at this fat little fuck I got tonight this motherfucker ain't seen a drive-thru with ain't wanted to stop at yet all I got to do is mention food and this motherfucker starts farting he knows you ain't cop material he just fucking with your head bro. You really think that that's what they do is just eat all night long? And then have to jump out of the car with the Kansas City quickness and run down the fucking your assorted niglets and white trash cocksuckers and go Hands-On with them and cuff em up. Think about it bro. You got to be in some kind of shape would you risk your life going out there on the streets every night with nothing but dollar McDoubles and donuts running through your veins? Now fuck know you wouldn't man you better be one tough bastard to be a cop better be rough tough and hard to fucking Bluff. My grandfather was a Kansas City Cop for 35 years my other grandfather was a case City firefighter for 28 years. I can assure you these men were not pussies.

The rich are blood sucking leeches.

Those BIZ LEADERS WILL SUCK KANSAS CITY DRY.

The rich who spend bigly are good by me. Those lux lifestyles spread the jack to earners in KC. Large homes (higher taxes and insurance), pricey rides (higher rates in taxes and insurance), spoiled kids and pets (of course), plus many of their other indulgences boosts the economy. The list of jobs they bring on can be long and may include--catered parties, personal chefs, musicians, restaurant dining, country clubs, personal trainers, sports coaches, interior decorators, financial advisors, tutors, boarding/private/prep schools, home pool/spa, home/landscape architect, lawn care services, housecleaners, drivers, kid/pet/house sitters, personal shoppers/assistants, vacation homes/time-shares, home wine cellars/tastings, philanthropy, church tithes, etc.

Business leaders should pull up their companies, move out and leave just you white boys, your wallets and mayor Sly to foot the bills!

The guys living in Kansas just expand the concept of White Privilege into Rich Man Privilege. We gonna take your tax money and spend it on what we think you need or what will make us a load of money. They won't even thank you for using your dime.

Those of us who live in Kansas and work in KCMO pay city tax and state tax to Missouri. Kansas gives a credit for the tax paid to MO. So the city and the state of MO get their tax revenue. KS gets less in state tax from these CEOs and these highly productive individuals bring a lot of wealth to Kansas City, MO. Where is the problem?
