"Raytown family still recovering after being hit by suspects fleeing Independence police"

Here is the problem with the story and more evidence why IPD ain't nothing but a bunch of fucking cowboys.

I realize that they were chasing what they called felony shoplifters. However, the whole fucking world knows they would never have been charged with a felony because Independence wants the city court to collect that fine money.

It was only after Independence turned this thing into a high speed dangerous chase (like they do so often) and half killed innocent people that they wanted to give their cowboy antics credibility by amplifying the matter into a felony case. Otherwise they would have looked like fucking idiots making this fucking mess over a couple of shit for brains boosters. Normally this would not be a big deal, but every fucking time some ass hat rookie at IPD pulls some damn shenanigan IPD turns on the PR drama machine and blows a ton of shit totally out of proportion to cover the fact that they make some damn stupid calls on the street. It happens almost everytime there is questionable judgement. We have seen officers beat up cooperative citizens, including veterans home on leave. We have seen a school teacher put face down in I-70 hot pavement when the officers didn't even have probable vasue to pull the person over. We have seen a kid half killed when the 32 year old officer didn't even have probable cause to make an arrest.

We have seen uncountable dangerous speed chases over offenses that do not justify the dangers created. We have seen officers get all excited to the point they shoot each other and then try to cover it up from the public. The list is extensively long. IPD needs some fucking maturity on the streets to stifle some of those young full of piss junior shit heads and bring some seasoning to the party before someone is killed.
