Should be free just like the street car

I'm sure the fare decrease will result in the buses being filled to over-capacity.
That's because for the great majority of the bus riders making sure the ozone levels get lowered are at the top to their agenda of life.
Another totally out-of-touch concept from the ivory tower of fantasyland.
How about EVERYBODY sell their cars to address climate change?
You really can't make this stuff up!

Rich people destroyed the planet. What are you going to do now the ocean has stopped taking on carbon because of 100 corporations, the CEO who made the decision 60 years to ignore climate change. The geologist name was M. King Hubbert who gave the Peak Oil presentation to the Brooking Institute in 1958. The oil companies paid billions to deny climate change was occurring. Now icebergs the size of Delaware fell off the North Pole this week. Over a billion species have come extinct. Enjoy the last 10 years of human existence.

11:36, your display of ignorance is very unusual even for this blog. Either get drunk or comment, but not both.
