In the attempt to mothball the current terminal . . . Local political denizens are asking to spend BILLIONS to fix a busted pipe. Take a look:
Water shut off at KCI Terminal B after line break
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Terminal B at Kansas City International Airport lost all water service Tuesday night after a water line break. Water could be seen pooling on Bonn Circle, a service road near the terminal. No flights had been affected as of 9 p.m Tuesday.
So the plan continues to be that if you ignore and don't maintain expensive public facilities, buildings, and utilities and they don't operate properly or even fail, you use that as an excuse to spend billions of dollars building nifty new stuff?
ReplyDeleteSeems to continue to be working great in KCMO!
Of course it helps to have very low-information clueless residents, most of who don't even bother voting when they have the chance and even then continue to elect and re-elect the same kinds of duds that waste their money pursuing such an obvious scam.
Which shell is the pea under today?
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious, toilet won't flush so build a new airport.
YOUR GO BOND MONEY AT WORK.....NOT
Vote no on the corrupt crony airport!
ReplyDeleteRemodeling and repairing would cost a tenth the amount.
And save hometown convenience.
How convenient. It's all part of a plan to make the airport impossible to use. "Your stupid voters need to give us the go-ahead, or we'll blow the place up."
ReplyDeleteUse Terminal A stupid.
ReplyDeleteHope they use better union workers on the next one
ReplyDeleteThe City has no credibility and I for one will vote NO for a new airport and Street Car expansion.
ReplyDeleteThe 18th and Vine investment did it for me.
