AMID ONGOING KANSAS CITY SEWER FAIL: FLASH FLOOD WARNING TONIGHT!!!



More weather drama for the overnight as a few locals don't even have their power on yet.

Take a look:

The National Weather Service issues a warning for Kansas City, Parkville and Gladstone. A flash flood warning issued for parts of the Kansas City metro area is in effect until 1:45 a.m. Thursday.

"Thunderstorms with very heavy rain are possible this evening and overnight with rainfall rates that may exceed 2 inches per hour in the heaviest storms. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible, with locally higher amounts."

  1. According to some climate models this could very easily be the new norm. Prudent leadership should ponder this before borrowing billions more for airports and such... we may need the money for recovery efforts.
