Toni Anderson was a party girl with a penchant for hard drugs and fast times . . . Today, her mom put the blame on police and their lack of baby sitting skill for her tragic death.

She says her daughter was "hammered" and shouldn't have been allowed to drive.
That's true enough but it doesn't mention so many other dangers of the young, strip club worker's lifestyle which played a more pivotal role in her death.
To be fair, grief is manifested in many different ways and the blame game in this tragic tale has even been directed at our blog community for noting how life in the fast lane was a big part of this death.
But we'll put it do you . . .

This seems to be the common theme among her stripper friends and now her mom as they also seem to have FAILED to provide more substantive help for her young woman.

ReplyDeleteThe only relevant point here is about grief. She mom deserves time to mourn and the way this case unfolded, she wasn't granted that. Losing a child is one of the most devistating things that can happen to a parent and she deserves some leeway in her statements.

How does a 20 year old serve alcohol in a bar? I am guessing she also got her alcohol and drugs from there. If no alcohol then there wouldn't have been any smell when the officer was talking to her. Probably God's fault for putting the river right there where he did.
ReplyDelete4:20 is probably right on. The leo telling her to park and collect herself may be a biggie, together with observing she was facing the wrong way. So, mistakes and responsibilities for this fatal outcome could be apportioned to her and him in a lawsuit.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what any of us make in judgements of Toni, for me, that officer had the DUTY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC FROM THAT IMPAIRED DRIVER!!! I'm not anti-popo...they're in my family. If Toni had immediately crashed into a passing or parked car in QT's lot, plowed into a QT gas pump, or crashed through the storefront following orders as recorded by PD to "go pull into QT to collect herself", the assertion is easier linked to a possible error by leo. But, it seems more time and distance put her at the river, instead.
I saw this coming as soon as that report was released.
