Reminder about this upcoming lesson in the 2nd Amendment. Take a look:

What you need to know about concealed carry at Kansas colleges

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas's controversial new gun law will go into this week, making it legal to carry concealed weapons on campus. Many Kansas college campus buildings don't have adequate security measures. That's why on July 1, a concealed carry ban will be no more.

  1. If I was a professor I would quit and go teach at univ of Chicago where they at least have good gun laws.

  2. How funny, go teach at Chicago univ where the murder rate is up to 329 this year.

A place where thugs have guns and know the rest of the population doesn't.

People in Chicago are sitting ducks and their guns laws prove that.

  4. 6:10 Lets face it!You are never going to be a professor. However, a weekend in a Chicago ghetto might provide an education you obviously have not gotten.

  6. Oh the humanity! It will be a bloodbath! Shootout at the KU Corral!

Nope. What these liberal idiots don't realize is this doesn't change anything. There was never anything in place to stop someone who wanted to bring a gun on campus. What prevented someone from bringing a gun before this change in policy? NOTHING. Duh.

[[ "Ron Barrett-Gonzalez, an aerospace engineering professor, explained that many professors care about their students like their own children. He says he's afraid the campus will be at the mercy of someone with a gun who is untrained or mentally unstable.

"A lot of the faculty members see this like, 'oh my god, there's a threat to my children.' This is the gut-level response that freaks a lot of faculty out, and we want nothing to do with it," Barrett-Gonzalez said." ]] For a supposedly smart guy, this professor doesn't really get it.

What these idiot professor's don't understand is the policy makes them safer. Some nut ball who wants to shoot up the place will now think twice, knowing that he/she may not be the only one with a gun in that class. And, the law only allows someone 21 and older to carry. That means an upperclassman... more likely to be more mature and responsible.

  7. Golly gee, nutty professers, Wally, Eddie, and Lumpy won't likely be dodging any bullets. They'll be drunk texting Mary Ellen while driving around Larryville---doing drunk violent hazing at the frats---and sneaking underaged high school girls into their buds' athletic dorm rooms for sex, drugs, & really NEAT sock hops!

  8. When was the last time there was an issue of a major violent crime on campus? KU seems pretty well protected you see cops all over the place. ID cards to get into any building, etc.

  9. Most of the students at KU are such pussies and queers, they have never even touched a gun, let alone carried one.
