Security cameras help neighbors feel safe along Independence Ave. in KCMO
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - New security cameras installed along Independence Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri are proving to be helpful to police. The Independence neighborhood on Kansas City's northeast side has a well-known reputation. "I think when you say Independence Avenue, people immediately think prostitution, drugs, crime," said Clay Turpin who lives nearby.
I don't think prostitution, drugs and crime. I say drugs first, then prostitution, then crime. There is a kind of synchronicity to it, and one must always start with the drugs.
ReplyDeleteIf you think the cameras make you feel safe just try installing a few 50 cals along the street.
ReplyDeleteSecurity cameras get great shots of the tops of heads and maybe a picture of part of a car streaking through an intersection. Yup - money well spent.
ReplyDeleteCan you please put some of those cams in my bedroom? I need to have safe sex.
