DNC TARGETS CONGRESSMAN YODER!!!

Here's another look at the intense effort to turn the richest part of Kansas into a Democratic Party stronghold and a talk with the leader among a cadre of JoCo challengers confronting the incumbent . . .

Andrea Ramsey is one of four Democrats seeking the nomination to run against Yoder. She says issues also set the race apart. “Clearly, our issues in Kansas with Gov. Brownback and his disastrous tax cuts, and Rep. Yoder failing town halls and failing to listen create a different climate,” Ramsey says.

National Democrats Focus On Kansas 3rd District

Recent Republican victories in several special congressional elections - including this week's in Georgia - have raised doubts about whether Democrats can gain control of the U.S. House next year. To erase those doubts, they're focusing on several swing districts, including one in Kansas. Republican Kevin Yoder has represented Kansas' 3rd Congressional District since 2011.

  1. The National Democrats just spent over $40 million trying to win a House seat in Georgia and added that loss to the other three they recently had in other states around the country.
They'll have no better success running in a Congressional election running against a governor than they've had running against Trump.
The Dems have turned into a tired old organization that's funded mostly by wealthy donors, but tries to make believe they're there for the regular guy, has no real ideas except recycling the New Deal, and is led by the elderly and incompetent.
Obama got his government pension, $60 million book deal, bought his $8 million house in DC, and continues to float above the fray.
If the Dems think Yoder's district should be targeted as in play, they're even more delusional than ever.
Maybe more marching around, wearing silly hats, and chanting will clear their heads.
    Good luck!

  2. I hope the DNC targets Yoder. He is in a very safe seat, and I hope they spend lots and lots of their money trying to beat him. So far, they don't have a viable candidate. So just keep spending your money, guys.

  3. Democrats spent over $320 per vote in Georgia, Republicans only slightly less. What a waste.

  4. TALK ABOUT LIBERAL LUNACY!

Democrats should be targeting their old Alzheimer's-riddled leadership for elimination. Start with Pelosi. Locally, look at demented Congressman Carwash, who's staff keeps him sequestered because he has difficulty with basic speaking tasks.

JoCo liberals who choose to reside in Conservative Red-State Kansas because decades-long Conservative policies have made JoCo the most desirable location in the metro, are experiencing a wet-dream when they hallucinate about seizing political power.

Please move into KCMO, and join the dysfunctional Team Sly.

  5. The should get Ossoff to run! According to him, he wouldn't have to live in the district.

    He's a great fundraiser.

  7. Yoder is a lifer.

    2018?

The tactics of 2018 are easier for him than 2016 because he can triangulate independent from Trump and not offend the JoCo RINOs.

In his position, retail politics is the key to staying in office, and he does a good job there.

  15. It would be great if Nancy Pelosi could come to Kansas to help the locals out. Maybe Hillary could stay in shape for 2020 by campaigning in Kansas, too.
