KC police plan to outfit officers with body cameras as price tag reaches $6 million

Equipping hundreds of Kansas City police officers with body cameras will cost roughly $6 million, according to early estimates released in June 2017. That price tag is expected to cover the initial startup costs, equipment upgrades, storage expenses, and the hiring of additional workers to manage the effort and to respond to open records requests for the video recordings.

  8. Maybe white people will stop approving taxes they know nothing about. Maybe white people will require something more of its politicians than grandiose speeches and unsupported claims? Naw, white people are as lazy as some of the other groups who get accused more often. You can't have your cake and eat it to...or maybe you can but diabetes is hard on the body and there is no cure. Enjoy your renal insufficiency, pancreatic disease, blindness, cancer and high medical bills. It's well earned.
