TKC MUST READ!!! KANSAS CITY STREETCAR OPPOSITION WEBSITE AGAINST CORRUPT TOY TRAIN EXTENSION DEBUTS!!!
Last week we noted some Kansas City websites attempting to access data from voters in support of the streetcar, now we want to focus on the far more forthright opposition campaign.

They're looking to share info and make connections in a way that's front and center about their viewpoint.

Besmartkc.com is loaded with information, including a phone number where you can talk with a real person about questions, etc. Click on the “how to vote” tab and you will see the type of information that’s there. Of course we are suggesting people vote “no” but we are also giving them the option once they get their ballot.

ReplyDeleteI think the misconception about people being against the hotel, the streetcar expansion and the KCI is the not that anyone is anti-progress. I think half of the issue is the sheer shady tactics that S'lie and the rest of the council employ to get things they want done. That's issue 1. Issue 2 is the fact that EVERYTHING they want done is not considered necessity and ALWAYS falls on the backs of the tax payer. So tax payers are getting it in both ends. We get tax hikes for the necessities (123GO-Bonds) then our tax dollars go towards the luxuries often times in shady fashion.
