  1. Anyone can contact the Jackson County Board of Equalization to appeal their property tax and request a reduction. The process is simple, contact the courthouse for instructions.

  2. Right on time for the city's tax increase on assessed values.

  3. I just checked online-my assessed value went up 14.5%. No way that is even close to reality. I'll be requesting a reduction.

  4. Anyone claiming that a property value jumped by 15% or more in ONE YEAR is totally full of shit and DOES NOT "reflect the market". This is just a giant tax money grab by White.

  11. These county cock suckers never made appropriate adjustments when parcels lost near 30 percent value in 2008. The crooked bastards. Who are thee boss hog mother fuckers supposed to be representing anyway?

  12. Frank White is not "embattled".
You have to be both aware of what's going on and concerned about it to be embattled.
    Frank White is neither.
It would also be nice to have an actual Jackson County legislature which is engaged and effective.
JaCo residents don't have that either.
Elections have consequences and electing the same kind of D-list celebrity wannabe politicos over and over again have very bad consequences.
It is a very expensive taxpayer-funded clown show.
    This way to the egress!
