TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY AREA TRANSPORTATION ETHICS CRISIS SNEAK PEEK!!!

Once again our blog community is FIRST to offer reporting and insight into a Kansas City hot mess that resonates across the scope of local government and transit.

To wit . . .

CHECK THE FIRST LOOK SNEAK PEEK AT THIS KCATA CONTROVERSY SOON TO DEBUT AND SEND LOCAL TRANSIT DENIZENS INTO A TAILSPIN!!!

Insiders behind the scenes have already seen the document but here's the money line that's gonna have push back throughout local politics.

"The previously listed job requirements for this KCATA honcho job were changed, all without adequate notice to the public, and the position was filled without even the appearance of a job search, all in violation of the Missouri law and the rules and laws governing political subdivisions of this state . . ."

And so, we're rolling toward another season of transit fighting but this time around it's not raucous locals battling one another in the streets but leadership and legal eagles taking aim at one another . . .

We've got more on this that we're gonna share ASAP but for now we're confident that the people who know, know that we know and have shared an appropriate FIRST LOOK so that our blog community can be in the know . . .

  2. Let me guess they want to hire someone from Olathe to run transportation in KCMO.

    1. What ever happened to Russ Johnson? He would have been perfect for this job! If he could control his temper.

  3. Frank's son was also not qualified for his job either in my opinion. KCAT A really needs to work on their image. It's time for a cleanup.

  4. Apparently painting the buses and changing the name to "Ride KC" is about the most we can hope for.
It's hard to identify a single operation in Jackson County or KCMO where qualifications or experience has had anything at all to do when it comes to hiring "executives".
Compared to these governments, Afghanistan looks good!

  5. If it's not a gun fight, it's this kind of smack fight. KC Mo and KS residents would rather just drive their car and avoid this kind of garbage. What a nightmare for all of KC.

No wonder the buses always smell like piss.

  6. KC could screw up a sandwich.

  7. This goes on in the Federal Government all the time. First you create a job description matching the employee or buddy you want to promote into the new job, then you get approval for the position and since no one else is even close to matching the job description except your cronie guess who gets the position? Fucking government in this country is so god damn corrupt it isn't funny.

  9. Frickin shame. People need the bus and they don't need it to be such a cluster. KC has a hard time running anything, just look at the condition of most buses in town and that should tell riders all they need to know.
