Kansas City Earns College Fanboy Victory!!!

Technically this is a win for Downtown Kansas City and maybe the local restaurant & bar biz . . . Even though most of these rubes are happy to scarf down and fill up on concession stand fare. But for anybody has to work in this town, this sporting success simply means more jerks from Iowa clogging traffic and making downtown slightly unbearable with adoration of mediocre amateur sports, longing for their glory days and admitting to the world that they haven't had a win sine their 20s. Take a look:

KC area lands six NCAA championship events through 2022 - Kansas City Business Journal

The NCAA received more than 3,000 bid submissions from NCAA member schools, conferences, sports commissions and cities. The Kansas City area landed six events: Division I Men's Basketball Regional in 2019 at the Sprint Center.
