Typically Horrible Kansas City Customer Service Ruins Big 12 For Tourists

Here's a fun fact for most visitors to this town . . . Just about every low wage worker from Downtown to Midtown hates their jobs for a lot of reasons but probably because they know they're working for people who would rather see them starve and die in the street then pay a few extra bucks for goods and services.

To wit . . .

DEEP CLASS DIVISIONS, RACIAL TENSION AND FEAR OF VIOLENCE CONSPIRE TO CREATE OVERALL HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY!!!

Don't believe this statement of fact . . . Try buying anything that costs less than 200 bucks anywhere in KCMO and notice that it's like pulling teeth to get somebody to do their crappy job.

There are a few notable exceptions but by and large . . . Antipathy in most Kansas City consumer exchanges is palpable.

Here's a bright and sunny view of this fact of life recently discovered by basketball fanboys . . . The KC Marriott loses our car

  9. For a town that is ALWAYS hollering about the tourists and other visitors, they sure do treat them like crap on a cracker. The lost car story is a great example of that treatment.

  10. One time I did valet years ago at a closed business- they joy road my AMC Pacer as I had a wifi-camera that showed them drag racing several races while I was away out of town. This was in the 70's.

  11. Drag racing with a Pacer? How long did it take to reach the finish line?
