TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST!!! SMALLISH OVERLAND PARK 'SPIRIT OF AMERICA' PREZ TRUMP RALLY STAYS LOSING!!!

The good people of Johnson County were out in full force to support Prez Trump this afternoon but what they really displayed was waning support for the controversial leader among only a die hard niche of old school supporters.

Don't get it twisted . . . TKC celebrates any effort to get off the couch and into the streets . . . Instead of partisan rhetoric, we simply want express the same kind of skepticism shown toward EVERY local protest and why it also applies here . . .

However . . .

LIKE IT OR NOT, TODAY'S OVERLAND PARK "SPIRIT OF AMERICA RALLY" STAYS LOSING TO BIGGER, BETTER AND MORE STRIDENT CRITICS OF PREZ TRUMP IN KANSAS CITY PROPER!!!

There wasn't a report of a single arrest so it's clear that these political denizens weren't doing anything groundbreaking, controversial or very much fun.

But let's delve even deeper . . .

First up . . . A simple glance at the crowd proves that time isn't on their side. Most of the participants were seniors, retirees and the elderly of Johnson County.

Contrast this image with younger, more energetic and excited critics against the Prez.

Secondly, and most importantly . . .

THIS WAS AN ALMOST COMPLETELY WHITE CROWD!!! LIKE IT OR NOT, THE LACK OF DIVERSITY AND HURTS PREZ TRUMP FANBOYS IN THE LONG RUN!!!

To be fair, there's nothing wrong with playing to the base and it's fine to rally suburbanites and keep'em separated for awhile . . . But sooner or later people have to venture outside of their bubble and start building a coalition - This has how politics has works since the beginning of time but still remains a weak point in the skill set of the current Administration - Which is part of why they've been so easily outflanked on all issues pertaining to Russia.

Notice that bigger crows turn out for stuff like the "Fight For $15" in Kansas City proper signaling that a real policy agenda and economic benefit better serve to bring together people from different backgrounds . . .

And this speaks our final point of in the only objective analysis of this even in the Kansas City metro . . .

It's a shaky, shaky premise for Trump supporters to demand total allegiance and support for Prez Trump given how much they worked to undermine, obstruct and insult Prez Obama.

Prez Trump deserves every bit of ridicule and opposition that he gets given that he has helped more than anyone to lower the level of American discourse . . .

Double bonus if we're going to get crass . . . The pro-immigration rallies have been bigger and much more fun . . . Second only to all of the lady protesters rallying for domain over their private parts with bawdy signage.

Again, we applaud protesters of every stripe but a lack of clever signs, funny hats, people of color or any hotties proves that this display of support is just as bland and boring as the network TV reality show fare that made Prez Trump famous in the first place.

Still, we'd like to have a conversation with our blog community on the topic of pro-Trump "Spirit Of America" protest. Do you think it was successful?

Either way, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night.

Trump won both Missouri and Kansas. That means he may claim prima nocta with all of the Johnson County housewives.

    Let's make america grate again!

    1. Getting arrested at a protest isn't fun. It's a waste of time.

The Trump supporters did the right thing. They waved their flags, had a good time and showed their support.

The fact is, old people vote more an they need to speak up to make their voices heard!

    2. I wonder if they will still show their support when he keeps on cutting their benefits? These people are less likely than anyone else to get the benefits of the economic revenue he is promising.

Looked a lot more like a parade of sheep.

Good for you Grandpa. I hope you had a good time at the Trump rally. Now you've lost your remote control privileges for a week.

  8. Taking a position against the rule-of-law is an argument that the Democratic Party is not likely to win.

  15. Well I guess Tony isn't Drudge. Quick look at his site shows Trump has a 53 percent approval rating with likely voters. I guess Tony didn't do much research.

  16. ^^^ That's a fake GOP poll.

Look at the FiveThirtyEight blog for a better analysis and they put Trump's approval rating at 44%

That's not bad for President Trump considering how close the election was and it's about the same of what Bill Clinton had.

I actually like Tony's analysis because it takes the piss out of some of these Trump people. If they can dish it out, they can take it.

  17. I get that Trump isn't popular.

But I'd still rather vote for him than Hillary.

Despite it all, and even considering the Russian stuff.

Hillary was worse, even the Democrats will admit that.

  18. Oh Paaaaaaaleeeeeeese! There can be no doubt which side of the fence you are firmly planted on Tony, at least by anyone who reads this blog.

Just one word of caution. Time and time again Trump makes statements that has folks scratching their heads and then just big as hell it turns out he is not nuts. Before we blow off this wiretapping thing it would be wise to standby and see how it plays out. I would not be a bit surprised if about the time we are thinking Trump is all wet and loosing it he comes up with the goods.

  22. You mistook a Trump rally for the usual parade of geriatrics doing their morning laps at the park. The rally was over by noon because it was getting dark out and Matlock was coming on.

  23. The truth is unemployed children protest Trump because they did not have a ride to vote.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Let the snowflakes have their large protests, Trump is still president , the GOP controls both the house and the senate & the dems are no longer relevant. Enjoy the next 8 yrs libtards.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Unemployed children didn't vote? Did the libtard neighborhood representative remind them they didn't need ID?

    ReplyDelete
  26. The Trump protesters showed up because they heard they were giving away free EBT cards and priority for section 8 housing.

  27. I was there and had an AWESOME time, although it was HORRIBLY advertised. Next time they need to network with the county party chairman and the state parties in both states for help. Anyway, most of us had never been to a "march" before... maybe because the only marches that get organized are for socialist, fetus-killing, wear-your-uterus hat causes that are generally detrimental to the country if their BS was ever widely embraced. Trump won both Missouri and Kansas, has already gotten more done in a month than the "community organizer in chief" did in 8 years, and has made everyone with a 401k or 529 college savings plan WAY richer than 6 month ago. PLUS his wife and his daughter are SMOKIN HOT! I ask you America, what's not to like??

    ReplyDelete
  28. Democrats need the protests to keep their party together. The Trump supporters were just out for a good time and show of support. Nobody's angry. I saw a bunch of folks with banners on bridges, you know, places where they would actually be seen, and not even trying to stop traffic. Of course there was no violence since there were no lefties there to commit it. Boring by Tony's standards but I bet they at least picked up their trash.
