A reminder that putting all of Kansas City's cash into pet projects and empty promises doesn't really help advance the goals of anybody but Internets troll consultants who get paid up front. Take a look:

Meg Kelly SOURCE: Meg Kelly A water main break is causing troubles for motorists downtown. Officials said the break happened around 3:45 near 16th Street and Main Street. Flooding has been reported in the area as a result of that break and the Kansas City Streetcar service has been suspended.

9:11, brilliant comment. The buses have none of the problems of the streetcar, but some people act like it doesn't exist.

^^^^There are many good reasons our great-grandparents opted for buses over fixed-rail transit. It appears their wisdom was not genetic in some cases and has completely skipped over trolley boy and his minions.

Oh sweet gift of irony at last I've found thee.

The shiny object paid for with funds diverted from basic infrastructure taken out by basic infrastructure failure.

Revenge is a dish best served wet.
