Excuse me, but the cops also set up sobriety checkpoints on New Year's Eve, too. And for the same reason. Amateur drunks.

ReplyDeleteI am sure that when Cinco de Mayo becomes the civic drunk fest that St. Patrick's Day is in Kansas City, the cops will have sobriety checkpoints out.
ReplyDeleteBut instead of pretending your the victim because they'll be on the lookout for St. Paddy's Day drunks, here's a way to avoid it: Stay sober. And if you can't stay sober, don't drive.
Is that too difficult a concept for you to grasp? Or are you now going to whine that they don't set up checkpoints on Bastille Day, either? Or the Chinese New Year.
If you drink to much, just go get on the street car and ride it till you sober up. Least the damn thing will have been useful for something.
