Where Is Waldo Ranking Among Embattled Kansas City Neighborhoods Nowadays???

Note quite as bad as Hyde Park but still with it's fair share of increasing conflict . . . The Neighborhood Association is raising money for this dude but the reality of increasing racial division and hateration in this enclave is evident . . . Man claims discrimination in Waldo neighborhood after he is labeled 'suspicious character'

  1. Don't walk around with a rap sheet and warrants ! Don't case out the neighborhood waiting for your kid to get off bus. Shitheel is a proven thief! Good job neighborhood watch!

  4. Here is Casenet on the black man in question.

Casenet shows his priors for burglary, theft, traffic offenses, and he is currently on felony probation for tampering with a motor vehicle and burglary and has had five probation violations filed since October. He also was charged in December with felony possession of a controlled substance.

He's a piece of shit, like most of them.

    It is what it is.

  5. GREAT JOB by that woman - do not feel that you did the wrong thing - vigilance sometimes means being brave and taking a stand - believe me - if no one does, this place would be a living hell hole. The police can not be everywhere all the time - I don't give a shit if he felt discriminated against - if he had half a brain, he would understand WHY he got his picture taken. Who knows how many future burglaries were just prevented. Keep up the good work.

  9. Man o' man, are the liberal talking heads pushing this as racist racist racist. I tried tuning in to that KMBZ mid-day show and all they were talking about is how horrible the Waldo racists are. Looks like plain old vigilance to me. Just like in an all-black neighborhood I would be viewed with suspicion, or in old Olathe, or an Asian 'hood. You maintain vigilance if you see something out of the ordinary; whether a guy skulking around a school waiting for a child, or a panel van with "free candy" painted on the side. The woman did the right thing.

  11. If the JoCo radio wannabes saw him hanging out in their neighborhood would they have invited him in for tea?

    I REALLY doubt it.

  12. The original story/interview I saw was that he wanted to smoke a cigarette but not on school grounds so he did so out by the street. Good on him. Problem is there’s an adult male hanging outside a school close enough to be there but far enough to smoke a cig or two. If I was someone with a kid at that school guess what? I’d hope first and foremost the school would have made the call to get that gentlemen checked out. Secondly, I’m not going to blame someone in the neighborhood for doing so. Maybe she should have called the school first but at the end of the day hopefully her intentions were about the kids and not being some kind of neighborhood avenger. The fact that he had a warrant … dude, that’s on you. Had nothing to do with being there on that day, it had everything to do with your choices prior to that day.

  13. What DIM WHIT Dana and Parks left out was the Waldo neighborhood has been plagued recently with burglaries. Many of them caught on camera or the ring.com door bell.

And let's not forget, he fit the profile of ALL the burglars seen on the video and unfortunately for him he had a warrant.

What I find amusing is that now the neighborhood is raising money to help him with his legal issue and the family AND the media want to make the person who called the police a villain.
