All things considered, these local social media denizens are doing great work and we hope they inspire more locals to get involved in the fight against crime. A quick glimpse at the their page is fascinating as the group claims more than 50k participants and their membership skews mostly towards locals on the Missouri side around Belton hoping to find missing shotguns, pickups . . . And maybe walnut bowls.
Still . . . Good stuff and a reminder that there's a ton of useful content via social media beyond simply alienating friends and relatives with a litany of ideologically inconsistent, abrasive and probably racist political posts which mostly serve to reveal a deep persecution complex by way of spouting pablum partisan rhetoric designed by spammers who are only slightly more clever.
