Of course Scamin' Sammy will veto it. He wants to be remembered as the Governor who cut taxes despite destroying the state budget. He can't be seen raising taxes and admitting his cuts were a disaster in the first place. He will leave this mess for the next governor to fix and who will inevitably have to raise taxes to balance the budget. It would even be better if that next governor were a democrat, so the foolish GOP can blame the dems even though they were the ones to to destroy state funding. This is the standard operating procedure for republicans: get elected to office in all levels of government, loot, destroy, and pillage the treasury, get voted out of office, have democrats come in and fix the mess, then blame the dems for everything.
