Kansas City Faith Blogger Skeptical Of Prez Trump Promise To Put Politics Back In Pulpit

Wiki reminds us that "The Johnson Amendment is a provision in the U.S. tax code that prohibits all 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates." and it's yet another topic Prez Trump has introduced that's dividing Americans.

Here's a local take on the topic: Keep the Johnson Amendment alive: 2-9-17

  1. the problem is that the rule is not enforced now, not that it exists. look at all the political advocacy by the churches in KCMO. such advocacy is skewed to loser, soft-headed non-solutions.

meanwhile, churches are failing in their core mission and changing the subject to political advocacy.

imagine churches working to actually help people spiritually in KCMO's neighborhoods in despair, and doing so with a truthful message.

the anomie on the east side is a spiritual emergency, if ever there was one.

  2. Of course, Billy Tammy uses quotes from NPR, a tax supported left wing organization whose pretense to objectivity is as preposterous as is the Main Stream Media's. The hypocrisy and irony, lost in the sanctimony and condescension from this apparatchik is not lost on the American public.

De Fund NPR, or, hire Ann Coulter and Michael Savage to contribute.

The very next article, from Billy Tammy, is, an endorsement of the Socialist Pope, who is nothing more than a Socialist politician. Render unto Caesar, that fuckin "Donation of Constantine" back to your flock and live in the streets with the poor, or shut the fuck up.

    Unbelievable.

  3. Damn right-wing snowflakes have used the bully pulpit of the church for too long with no repercussions. These hypocritical, lying, closeted, bigots use the church and the church uses them to push their fascist, dystopian dogma to the lemming congregation who lap it up. We need to take away their exemptions and tax them back to the stone age where they and their like intellectually reside.

  4. Right wing Evangelical dum-dums have always used the church and vice versa, to push their fire and brimstone, fear of eternal damnation agenda to the masses. We need to remove the exemption and tax these churches back to the stone age where they intellectually reside. The right wing religious (closeted bigots) use the church to divide the country. They like it that way so their greed, corruption, and moral depravity can run amok under the blanket of "godliness." "Da bible said so"

  5. Tammeus is a tool. His blog comment archives are full of threats he let atheists make against Christian, including one mad dog who kept saying that he loved to taste Christian brains, etc.

The Billy got threatened with a lawsuit, and shut his comments section down FOREVA!
