ReplyDeleteDoes anyone learn proper journalism anymore? You don't have to give their address, but a nearby intersection would be nice. The robber obviously knows where they live. It has become commonplace in KC journalism to leave out known, pertinent facts from stories.
ReplyDeleteThis younger generation moving into Brookside, Waldo, Midtown, etc. are innocent, wide eyed newbees. They need to realize that the negro is a predator and they are the prey. Be watchful, be aware of those around you. If you see a ghetto monkey in your neighborhood they are not there to rake your leaves or shovel your snow or clean your gutters; they are there to steal, rape and pillage.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that probably 5-10 robberies and carjackings which some are a lot more violent (suspect stabbing or shooting the victim) happen elsewhere within KC every day but any time one happens in Waldo, Brookside, or JoCo it's news.

ReplyDeleteIt was interesting to see the reaction of our JoCo raised daughter and her new JoCo husband when they moved to the West Plaza area. They were in their home about 6 months, and their car and house had already been broken into. JoCo raised new hubby called the KC police and wanted them to come out, investigate, take fingerprints, etc. Each time, they laughed uproariously and thought he was just trying to pull a prank. They haven't gone out on a property break in in years. They told him that he could come by the station and file a police report for insurance purposes. Less than a year later, the JoCo raised newlyweds were back in O.P. I don't know if the police can solve such a break in, but at least they have the courtesy to show up. So much for urban pioneers.
