  2. I was born and raised in the Plains States, but have lived and traveled to several cities relatively equal in size to Kansas City. KC isn't even close to the top of the list. This story is the perfect example of trying to stuff ten pounds of bullshit into a five pound bag.

  3. Kansas City is a great place to visit with a lot to do - those who don't think so probably don't get out and find the unique features. What's missing from other cities is rapid public transit - bigger cities have dependable public transit, we have a streetcar that doesn't begin to serve the community as a whole. Another obstacle is almost too many small areas of focus; Power and Light, Jazz District, Westport, Plaza, etc. Other destination cities tend to have one major place to congregate; San Antonio - River Walk, New Orleans - Bourbon Street, Memphis - Beal Street, etc. and they are well known. Kansas City has also done a very poor job of promoting/developing the river front. There are lots of things to do and a lot of room for improvement.

  5. 10:02 has been drinking early today. KC can't develop the riverfront, it is a toxic hazard. Fact!
