Incumbent Mark Holland filed with election officials Monday to seek a second term as mayor and CEO of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan.
Across the State Line remember that last year's murder numbers spiked as well and the Mayor took a great deal of heat after "social justice" remarks that upset the family of a lawman who was gunned down
Given that voter turnout in KCK usually tops out around 10%, his reelection might be a foregone conclusion but a tense relationship with rank and file police could prove disastrous for a rising star politico.

Sad thing is we have no one that could beat him. Commissioner Murguia can't beat him with the crying and pouting she's been doing lately.
ReplyDeleteIn WyCo, the only choice is no choice. This is by design. No one to run against him because the money boys have some more tax payer scams that are too good to mess up with a newbie. The American Royal deal is a major scam in the making and no one is more qualified to run one than an experienced scam artist.

Instead you take millions of tax payers money and complain behind closed doors. It takes guts to speak out in the Dotte. They destroy your live if you speak out that's why you don't speak out. Where were all of you fine upstanding people when your spokes men and women were fighting for their lives at the den of lying thieves located on the ground floor of the courthouse?
