Considering Mexican Flag Amid Kansas City Immigration Protest At City Hall

Talking point that doesn't make a lot of sense and deserves to be fact checked . . .

There's always a bit of Conservative backlash when the Mexican flag comes out at a Kansas City protest . . .

HOWEVER . . .

Not too long from now St. Paddy's day festivities will feature more than a bit of Irish liberation protest from a group of immigrants who also seek to influence U.S. policy . . . Just look closely, it's always there and always fun to see politics creeping into every local festivity . . .

Like it or not, Irish nationalism is a proud tradition among a FEW locals. To be fair, it doesn't gather much interest or media coverage BUT it's still the subject some interesting debate and also really fun to watch locals of Irish descent tap-dance about that notion that old school support of the IRA is so much different from current allegations targeting Muslim community support for terror . . . Again, to be fair, 9/11 pretty much killed any glamorization of terrorism among white people . . . Even after Brad Pitt's horrible B-Movie terrorist turn.

But I digress . . . And only want to conclude that I'm willing to be a shiny new quarter that the arrests at the protest yesterday were probably from "anarchist" wannabees and not anybody who has real issues with La Migra.

Take a look:

You decide . ..

The infamous "The Next..." attribute. Usually it is a career killer.

It does explain the entertainment industry's intent perfectly. Forget originality and present something just-like-but-slightly-different as New-ground-breaking.

Before thinner-skinned-than-Trump starts calling me hater, it is no way about this young man. Just the industry.

Another example of protesters co-opting the language to fool people.

IMMIGRANTS? A DAY WITHOUT IMMIGRANTS?

Aren't they talking about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?

Who's against legal immigration? Few that I'm aware of.

President Trump's executive order was a TEMPORARY ban to improve security, thus protecting our national security, after the Obama Administration went AWOL and America experienced San Bernardino, Orlando, etc.

If you're in this country legally, you're good.

If you're in this country illegally, but you're a student, working hard, obeying the laws, minding your own business, you're still likely good. President Trump even said this.

If you're in this country illegally, committing crimes, involved in gangs, drugs, etc., you will be targeted and dealt with harshly.

Give up man, if it didn't come down from the DNC the bloggers and media won't buy it. They would rather make the shit up and expect the right to defend against the baloney they dream up. The good news is they are pushing votes to the right like crazy.

Non sequitur argument, Tony. The Irish support in this country was regarding political control in Ireland. The Mexican support in this country is regarding political control in the U.S., not in Mexico. Nice try.

Bono hates U.S. Irish, that is good enough for me.
