Fox4: Cyber security company gives failing grade to Jackson County online tax payment system
Deets:
County officials said the biggest fear, if one should happen, is that it could shut down the online payment system. That would be inconvenient for the tens of thousands of people that pay their taxes online.
Jackson County Legislative Chairwoman Crystal Williams said upgrading the system is a priority, although there is no deadline as to when it will be done.
"It's on the list," Williams said. "It's definitely on the list."

- Property tax billing and payment is a longstanding problem for Kansas City residents . . .
- Part of Crystal's campaign platform was to "clean up" the finances at the Courthouse and so far there hasn't been any accomplishment on that front . .
